Police late Monday identified the slain officers as Joseph Zangaro, 61, a retired Michigan State Police commander, and Ronald Kienzle, 63, a retired sergeant with the Benton Charter Township Police Department.

A 21-year-old man was TASERed by a Kootenai County, Idaho, court bailiff on Monday, after he refused repeated commands to stop filming near a courtroom. Robert Peterson entered the courthouse for a hearing on a citation he received for riding his bicycle at night without a light.
