North Carolina Officer Charged with Traffic Offense After Striking Child in Crosswalk
A Statesville, NC. police officer has been charged with failing to yield the right of way to a pedestrian after authorities said she struck a 4-year-old child with her patrol car last week. The boy was walking with his mother at the time and is expected to be OK.
