An officer with the Anne Arundel (MD) Police Department is expected to be okay—suffering only minor injuries—after a driver exiting the parking lot of a local restaurant struck his patrol vehicle.
The officer—who has not yet been identified—was transported to a local hospital and is reportedly in good condition.
The Capital Gazette reports that the crash is not under investigation by the department’s Traffic Safety Section as it did not involve serious or fatal injuries.
