For those of you who weren't able to attend this year's International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Conference, we've gathered information about a selection of new products seen at IACP 2015 in Chicago, Oct. 25-27.

5.11 Tactical

Part of 5.11 Tactical's new Urban Casualty Response line, the UCR Slingpack is an ambidextrous bag built from 1050-denier nylon, featuring a drop- front opening with side retention lashes, haul handles, interior pockets with bungee retention, a customizable pull-out ID panel, and a large front web patch panel. It's available in black, sandstone tan, and storm gray.

Aeryon Labs

Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) provider Aeryon Labs announced a technology partnership with Microsoft to include Aeryon SkyRanger within the new Microsoft Advanced Patrol Platform (MAPP) vehicle. By integrating aerial images from Aeryon sUAS with other cutting-edge hardware and software solutions, the MAPP program provides officers with real-time intelligence needed to assess a situation immediately, ensure safety on the ground, and capture detailed evidence and forensics.

Angel Armor

Angel Armor's newest product in its ballistic protection lineup is the Ally One Level IIIA concealable armor. You can slip this 10.25 x 13.25-inch flat soft armor panel in a backpack or laptop bag to provide ballistic protection on or off duty.

Angel Armor also announced that it will be selling Ballistic Vehicle Door Panels designed to fit additional vehicle models, including the Ford F150.

Blauer

Blauer's 4-inch Strike shoe provides a lower-ankle option for everyday use. Centinel Solutions

Utilizing digital imaging and geo-positioning, the Centinel Solutions weapon-mounted camera system captures video from the officer's point of view. Centinel Solutions is activated the moment an officer draws his or her weapon. At the same time, alert notifications are sent to the police command center along with streaming video and audio. The system also alerts all local police officers that an officer has drawn his or her weapon and provides the officer's exact GPS location to expedite agency response for assistance.

Cradlepoint

Cradlepoint's COR IBR1100 Series networking router is a compact, ruggedized 3G/4G/LTE solution that features cloud-managed networking for vehicles, so you can remotely manage and update the system in real time. It's now available with an optional dual-modem dock that allows the use of two wireless providers at the same time. Ekin Technologies

The Ekin Patrol system from Ekin Technologies contains everything needed for this "intelligent surveillance system" in a custom lightbar, including the cameras needed for speed detection and license plate recognition. The system allows 360 degrees of surveillance on the move and is capable of operating continuously. First Tactical

First Tactical is a new company started by Dan Costa that launched earlier this year. At IACP, First Tactical showed its matching Tactix tac pants and BDU shirts, as well as the company's bags and its newest products, gloves. First Tactical's Medium Duty Padded Glove features lower neoprene knuckles, foam knuckle padding, a pistol grip palm with less bulk for a better grip, a U-shaped thumb gusset for better recoil control, and TouchTac fingertips for touchscreen compatibility. Hitachi

With Hitachi Visualization Suite, you can visualize and interact with multiple sources of information geospatially. HVS integrates any video and data sources, including third-party video systems, computer-aided dispatch (CAD) or 911 systems, license-plate recognition (LPR), gunshot sensors, records management systems (RMS), evidence, and more in your jurisdiction. The cloud-based application uses Microsoft Azure. It provides customizable "layers" of information and uses all of the intel it collects to predict future crime locations. www.hds.com

Impact Power Technologies

Impact Power Technologies (IPT) engineers and manufactures replacement batteries for most popular two-way radios. At IACP, LexisNexis Risk Solutions officially launched its Coplogic Solutions suite, which integrates incident and accident reporting capabilities for law enforcement agencies. Coplogic Solutions integrates LexisNexis eCrash with the capabilities attained through three recent strategic company acquisitions – Coplogic, iyeTek, and PoliceReports.US. The suite allows for online citizen self-reporting, which can free up officers to conduct other tasks. Kiosks also allow citizens to create reports on the system in the station lobby. NICE

NICE Investigate automates and expedites the entire investigation process, with the goals of helping close cases faster and increasing successful prosecutions. The public portal improves community engagement by enabling citizens to securely share tips, photos, and video with police departments and enables businesses to easily register their private CCTV cameras. The investigation portal puts investigators in control of digital evidence to securely organize it for each incident in a linked digital case folder. A powerful correlation engine suggests relevant content from connected sources, helping to ensure that all potential evidence is considered. Safariland

The Safariland Group has an all-new line of ABA Xtreme body armor solutions for law enforcement. The Xtreme ballistic panels feature fabric using DuPont Kevlar KM2 Plus fibers incorporating a proprietary weaving process co-created with DuPont, along with a proprietary manufacturing material called Core Matrix Technology. The new Xtreme ballistic panels are made to be light, thin, and flexible. Survival Armor

Survival Armor's new Paladin concealable vest is available in NIJ Level II and IIIA in both male and female designs. Ti Training showed its new Ultra World use-of-force simulator system at the show. Ultra World comes with panels to create a configurable shoothouse on which different parts of a scenario can be projected on different walls throughout the house. Watchguard Video

One of the new products Watchguard Video debuted at the show was the EvidenceLibrary4Web. This new hybrid evidence library system is browser based and can share data securely to the cloud.
