Mexico Captures Zetas Founder Wanted In ICE Agent's Killing
Mexican authorities have captured Jesus Regon Aguilar, one of the three founding members of the Los Zetas drug cartel and a suspect in the killing of a U.S. immigration enforcement agent earlier this year. Jesus Rejon Aguilar, who goes by the alias "El Mamito" (Pretty Boy), was taken into custody on Sunday near Mexico City without a shot being fired.

Mexico Confirms Death of Zetas Cartel Leader
The Mexican government confirmed Tuesday that its forces killed Heriberto Lazcano Lazcano, the leader of the Zetas cartel, in a shootout Sunday. Mexican marines killed Lazcano in a small town in northern Mexico about 130 miles from the Texas border.

Mexican drug cartels are using children as young as 11 in their smuggling operations in Texas, Reuters is reporting. Six of the cartels, including the violent Zetas, are paying children $50 to move a vehicle from one area to another area, as well as using them as lookouts or for other tasks.
