Capt. Bernice Abram, who has been on leave from her role as commander of Carson station since April, is being investigated for involvement in the narcotics ring run by Dion Grim, the leader of Compton's Front Hood Crips. The FBI has been investigating Grim's street gang and his operation of a walk-up drug house in Compton and coordination of shipments of Xanax from Los Angeles to Louisiana, reports Robert Faturechi of the Los Angeles Times.
