Seventeen-year-old T.J. Lane has been charged with three juvenile counts of aggravated murder in the shooting deaths of three Chardon High School students.

Lane allegedly brought a .22-caliber handgun to school Monday morning and opened fire on several students, killing Danny Parmertor, 16; Russell King Jr., 17; and Demetrius Hewlin, 16. Hewlin's mother, Phyllis Ferguson, said she forgives Lane for killing her son during an interview on ABC's Good Morning America.

Nickolas Walczak, 17, was laft partially paralyzed after being shot in the neck, back, and cheek. Joy Rickers, 18, has been released from the hospital.

In the days following the shooting, a portrait of Lane began to emerge. Deputies had been to Lane's house in Munson Township plenty of times in the past two years but mostly not for trouble caused by Lane. The Cleveland Plain Dealer has that story here.
