DA Sees No 'Intentional Killing' by Fullerton Cops

Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas has said he sees no evidence that Fullerton (Calif.) Police Department officers intentionally killed a homeless man when they beat him while attempting to bring him into custody.

Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas has said he sees no evidence that Fullerton (Calif.) Police Department officers intentionally killed a homeless man when they beat him while attempting to bring him into custody.

Rackauckas's office is still attempting to determine whether officers used excessive force on Kelly Thomas, 37, during a rough July 5 arrest that has led to calls for the resignation of the police chief and prosecution of the officers.
