Two Arrested For 7 Violent Attacks On California Department

On Friday, 78 federal agents and officers raided the homes of Nicholas John Smit, 40, and Steven Hansen, 36. Smit was charged with attempted murder of a police officer and building a potentially deadly booby trap and targeting law enforcement officers.

Two suspects, including a conviced felon, have been arrested for seven attacks this year on the Hemet (Calif.) PD that put the department's officers on edge, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Investigators believe the attacks were the handiwork of a white supremecist gang.
