Arkansas Wildlife Officer Ended Gun Battle by Ramming Suspects' Van

Crittenden County Sheriff Dick Busby, who was unarmed and wounded in the incident, has said "all hell broke loose," after officers pulled over the white minivan driven by the suspects.

An Arkansas Game and Fish Commission officer participating in the manhunt, Michael K. Neal, 33, ended Thursday's gun battle on Interstate 40, when he rammed the suspects' minivan with his state truck, the Commercial Appeal reports.

Two West Memphis Police officers were killed, when the two suspects—identified as Jerry R. Kane Jr., 45, and Joseph T. Kane, 16—opened fire on them with an AK-47 during a traffic stop.
