New York Officer Suspended After Weapons Stolen from Personal Vehicle

An officer with the Buffalo Police Department has been suspended without pay after a department-issued gun, personal rifles, ammunition and other weapons were stolen from his personal vehicle.

An officer with the Buffalo Police Department has been suspended without pay after a department-issued gun, personal rifles, ammunition and other weapons were stolen from his personal vehicle.

According to ABC News, three guns were taken. Two were the officer's personally owned rifles, as well as one department-issued handgun. A duty belt was also stolen.

The officer's name has not been released.
