An employee at a Dunkin' Donuts establishment in Illinois  was arrested Friday after an Illinois State Trooper discovered mucus in his coffee.

According to a press release posted to the agency's Facebook page, police arrested a man—identified as 25-year old male of Vincent Sessler—after an investigation stemming from the discovery of a large wad of mucus floating on the top of the hot cup of coffee.

ISP Director Brendan Kelly said in a statement, "This is outrageous and disgusting. The men and women of the Illinois State Police put their heart and soul into protecting the lives and rights of all people in this state every day."

Kelly added, "They deserve better than this insulting and dangerous treatment. For their safety, ISP officers and employees will be prohibited from patronizing this location."
