Pennsylvania Agency Announces Death of Beloved K-9

Officers with the Mt. Oliver (PA) Police Department are mourning the death of a beloved K-9.

The agency announced the passing of K-9 Nico on its Facebook page, saying, "We mourn with Chief Juzwick, his family and the entire Mt. Oliver Police Department on the passing of K-9 Nico."

The cause of death was not revealed, nor was it clear from the post whether the dog's death was in the line of duty or by natural causes.

Nico was 12 years old.
