Suspected Cop Killer Ordered Held Without Bail

A judge has ruled that a 37-year-old man accused of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Officer Jonathan Shoop of the Bothell (WA) Police Department will be held without bail.

A judge has ruled that a 37-year-old man accused of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Officer Jonathan Shoop of the Bothell (WA) Police Department will be held without bail.

According to the Seattle Times, King County District Court Judge Joe Campagna ordered that Henry Eugene Washington be held without bail as he awaits trial for murder of Officer Shoop as well as attempted murder of another officer following a brief vehicle pursuit earlier this week.

The gunman fled the scene but was apprehended as he hid on a rooftop.
