According to CBS News, the demonstration of support was for former UVA Police Officer Becky Campbell.

The Charlottesville Police Department said on Twitter, "Today agencies from the city and county did a drive by parade for former @UVAPolice Ofc. Becky Campbell, who is battling a terminal illness. Thank you for your service, Becky, and know that we are with you during your battle!"
