2,400 NYPD Personnel Have Called in Sick During Coronavirus Crisis

So far, 100 officers and 29 civilian members of the NYPD have tested positive for the virus.

More than 2,400 police employees, including sworn officers, have called in sick as the coronavirus spreads through the ranks of the NYPD, officials said Monday.

That is more than double the daily average, police said.
