CA Agency Celebrates "National Random Act of Kindness Day" by Helping Homeless

Deputies with the Sacramento County (CA) Sheriff's Office Homeless Outreach Team spent part of the day on Monday giving homeless individuals cups of coffee and food.

The agency posted on Facebook, "National Random Act of Kindness Day. Sacramento Sheriff’s Homeless Outreach Team is handing out burritos and coffee in the north area today. A navigator from Sacramento Self Help Housing is assisting the team offering services to those needing help."

The post continued, "Thank you HOT and Sacramento Self Help Housing for your concern for our community and your continuous efforts to help those in need."
