California Officers Fatally Shoot Man in Domestic Call

Two officers with the Concord (CA) Police Department are on paid administrative leave after fatally shooting a man after an elderly couple called 911 to report that their 60-year-old son was armed with a knife and acting erratically on Sunday morning.

Two officers with the Concord (CA) Police Department are on paid administrative leave after fatally shooting a man after an elderly couple called 911 to report that their 60-year-old son was armed with a knife and acting erratically on Sunday morning.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, a 90-year-old man and his 85-year-old wife suffered undisclosed injuries before Sergeant Josh Graham and Officer Oscar Rodriguez responded to the scene and encountered the knife-wielding assailant.

The elderly couple was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The subject was declared dead at the scene.
