An officer in Oklahoma who merely wanted to do a nice thing for the people working in the dispatch office of his department on Thanksgiving was met with an unpleasant surprise when the cups of coffee he had ordered were delivered with the word "pig" printed on them.

According to ABC News, the officer with the Kiefer (OK) Police Department reported the incident to his chief, who subsequently called the Starbucks location where the coffee came from.

The store manager offered to have new cups given to him if the officer returned with the old ones.

Dissatisfied with this suggested resolution, Chief Johnny O'Mara posted an image of one of the cups on social media, which quickly went viral.

The following day, the worker who printed the labels for the cups was fired.
