A 30-veteran officer with the Aurora (CO) Police Department is welcoming her two daughters to the ranks, making the department one of those in the Rocky Mountain State to have three women from the same family in law enforcement.

According to Fox News, Officer Judy Lutkin's daughter Audrey had gone on a few ride-alongs while in college and decided that law enforcement was her calling, following in her mother's—and her father's—footsteps.

Audrey's sister Mallory said that theirs is a law enforcement family who rely on each other for help.

"Especially when we have our rough days—because I think everyone in this job will have tough days—so to be able to go to either my mom or my sister or my dad, it’s nice to have someone to talk to about that stuff, awesome to have other people in the family that understand," she said.

Judy's husband retired after 25 years with the Aurora PD.
