An officer with the Scottsville Police Department saved the life of a 19-month-old child last week by performing CPR.
The agency posted on Facebook that Sergeant James Talbott , Officer John Williams, and Deputy Brandon Lovett responded to a call of a child in medical crisis just two weeks after undergoing CPR re-certification.
Sergeant Talbott was able to clear the child's airway and perform CPR, reviving the toddler.
The child was then transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released.
