2 Missouri LEOs Shot, Hospitalized with Non-Life-Threatening Injuries

A Carter County (MO) Sheriff's deputy and a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper were shot Friday morning, leaving both with non-life-threatening injuries.

A Carter County (MO) Sheriff's Office deputy and a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper were shot Friday morning, leaving both with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to KFVS-TV, the officers were serving an eviction notice when the subject opened fire, striking the deputy in the leg, groin, and chest.

The trooper was struck in his ballistic vest.

Both are expected to be OK.
