2 Washington Officers Injured in Vehicle Collision with Suspected DUI Driver

Two officers with the Arlington (WA) Police Department suffered reportedly minor injuries when their vehicle was struck by a suspected drunken driver on Thursday morning.

Two officers with the Arlington (WA) Police Department suffered reportedly minor injuries when their vehicle was struck by a suspected drunken driver on Thursday morning.

According to KOMO News, a 24-year-old woman was driving with her headlights off in a dark-colored vehicle when she crashed into the Arlington police vehicle, which was attempting to turn left across her lane of traffic.

The two officers—as well as the woman—were transported to a nearby hospital with reportedly non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspected DUI driver was released from the hospital and booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of DUI and driving without headlights.
