Missouri Officer Rescues 3-Year-Old Girl and Grandmother from House Fire

An officer with the Hazelwood (MO) Police Department is being credited with saving the lives of a 3-year-old girl and her grandmother from a house fire in a basement apartment late last week.

An officer with the Hazelwood (MO) Police Department is being credited with saving the lives of a 3-year-old girl and her grandmother from a house fire in a basement apartment late last week.

According to Fox News, Officer Rodriguez arrived to the scene of the house fire before firefighters arrived and immediately took action to break a small basement window and pull the girl and her grandmother, Latonya Hart, to safety.

Firefighters from multiple departments responded and extinguished the fire.

Both Hart and her granddaughter were treated on the scene.
