An officer with the Orono (MN) Police Department was called to do a welfare check on an elderly woman's home late last week, and having completed that objective decided to also attend to her overgrown lawn.

The agency posted an image of Officer Matt Siltala doing the yard work on Facebook, saying that when Siltala asked the woman why the yard was so unkempt, the woman said she didn't know anyone who would take care of it.

The post concluded, "He grabbed her mower and cut the front yard. Very cool. But, not sure why Officer McCoy, who took the picture, couldn't grab the trimmer..."
