A woman accused of striking an officer with the Sandy Springs (GA) Police Department and then driving away from the scene has been located and arrested.

A woman accused of striking an officer with the Sandy Springs (GA) Police Department and then driving away from the scene has been located and arrested.

According to WSB-TV, investigators used vehicle registration databases, sales records and traffic cameras to narrow down locations where the suspect’s red Toyota would likely be and located it within hours of the collision.

The officer reportedly suffered only minor injuries.
