Suspect Stabbed Wife, Barricaded Himself in Arizona Home

A man reportedly stabbed his wife in their Scottsdale, AZ home early Thursday morning. She was able to escape with her teenage son, but the attacker remained in the dwelling, barricading himself as police arrived to the scene.

A man reportedly stabbed his wife in their Scottsdale, AZ home early Thursday morning. She was able to escape with her teenage son, but the attacker remained in the dwelling, barricading himself as police arrived to the scene.

According to CBS News, the woman was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.At mid-day on Thursday, the suspect remained barricaded in the home, with police attempting to make contact with him.

A SWAT team was called in when the man refused to leave the home, reports KNXV-TV. After several hours, the suspect was taken into custody.
