Video: 2 Georgia Officers Honored for Rescuing Man from Burning Vehicle

Officers Kelly Horne and William Palmer were honored for their heroics in a ceremony held late last week, winning the department's Lifesaving Medal Award.

Two officers with the Henry County (GA) Police Department can be seen on video taking fire extinguishers to a burning vehicle before pulling the driver from the car. Seconds later, the car suddenly burst into flames.

During the incident—which took place in December 2018—Officers Kelly Horne and William Palmer worked quickly to pull the driver to safety.

According to KTRK-TV, the two officers were honored for their heroics in a ceremony held late last week, winning the department's Lifesaving Medal Award.
