A woman from Reading, PA, has reportedly been arrested for kicking an officer in the leg and then stomping on his foot as he attempted to effect an arrest during a traffic stop.
According to the Reading Eagle, the subject—identified as 33-year-old Marlene Cotto—is charged with aggravated and simple assault and resisting arrest.
The officer—who has not been identified—had attempted to search Cotto for weapons, and she loudly declared "You can't search me!" because she is female and the officer is male.
When the officer continued to lawfully search the subject, she launched her alleged attack.
