Texas Man Impersonating Officer Reportedly Commits Sexual Assault

Authorities in Texas are looking for a man who, dressed as a police officer, initiated a traffic stop on a woman, and reportedly sexually assaulted her.

Authorities in Texas are looking for a man who, dressed as a police officer, initiated a traffic stop on a woman, and reportedly sexually assaulted her.

The incident reportedly took place on February 18. According to CBS News, the woman was pulled over by a black Dodge Charge with a police-style spotlight mounted to the driver's side "A pillar," and a red flashlight affixed to the roof.

Believing that the car behind her was a police vehicle, she pulled over. At the stop, the man—described as approximately six feet tall—is said to have walked the woman to the passenger side of the vehicle and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect remains at large.
