An officer with the Warren (OH) Police Department who issued a ticket to the principal of an elementary school for parking in a handicapped spot was summarily escorted off campus for the effort, according to WQAD-TV.

Warren police union representative Michael Currington said that the principal was warned several times about the infraction before being issued the ticket on Tuesday.

"Resource officer Adam Chinchic was ordered and escorted out of the building by the school's business manager and the head of security in the same fashion as a criminal," Currington said.

Currington added that Officer Chinchic was especially upset by what happened because he had promised a little girl that they could eat lunch together and would not be able to fulfill that pledge.
