Iowa Man Arrested for Impersonating Officer after Following Teen Girl

The man—identified as 60-year-old Kent Arnold Smith—reportedly followed the young woman as she drove her vehicle home. Smith then reportedly pulled into the driveway behind the girl's car, telling her that he was an undercover officer.

According to the Des Moines Register, an Iowa man has been charged with impersonating a public official after he told a teenage girl he was a police officer.
