JAMAR Technologies has released a radar recorder system with the ability to gather speed data without having an officer on site. The device is portable, can be installed on any roadside pole, and eliminates the need for pneumatic road tubes used by other speed data collection equipment. Data from the system can be downloaded by using TRAXPro software, which allows officers to create reports using the data.
