The scene on the front of the tin depicts a moose hunting camp from long ago and reminds many hunters of their first hunting camp where they might have used No. 9. Cleaning products in the tin include Hoppe’s No. 9 solvent, lubricating oil, and patches. Also included are a rifle/shotgun and pistol adaptor, a three-piece brass rod, and five phosphor bronze brushes to fit .22 to .30 caliber rifles, .38 caliber pistols, and 20- and 12-gauge shotguns.
