Damascus will be the first to bring d3o technology to the law enforcement and tactical markets in a new range of elite tactical and assault entry gloves. d3o is a material containing molecules that flow freely under normal conditions but lock together when hit to absorb impact energy. The molecules act like a net, locking together to absorb and spread the force of any impact. Damascus’ new gloves, constructed with d3o placed in the knuckle areas, are designed to allow law enforcement and tactical professionals to retain freedom of movement and a low profile, while gaining a high level of impact and shock absorption. Damascus also has other designs in the works for other glove styles and tactical/military gear.
