Canon’s new XL1S digital video camera can supply superimposed camera data (including date, time, exposure, etc.) onto any images recorded. This feature makes evidence recording, courtroom testimony or interviews solidly documented for future review. Other features include audio dubbing capability, 16X zoom, reduced power consumption, custom keys to program commonly used features, maximum control over camera exposure options and even a self-timer. The XL1S also offers a time-lapse mode in which frames can be taken at 30 second, one, five or 10-minute intervals.
