Vermont Chief Injured in Fatal Head-On Collision

A 48-year-old man was killed when his vehicle drifted over the centerline of a road in Groton, Vermont, and struck the vehicle occupied by St. Johnsbury Police Chief Timothy Page and his wife Colleen on Saturday.

Davan Ostrover was pronounced dead at the scene—police said he was not wearing a seat belt.

According to WCAX-TV, Chief Page has a broken hand and broken rib.

St. Johnsbury Police Captain Jason Gray told the station that his wife's injuries are more severe, but he did not disclose details.
