Texas LEO Hospitalized After Contact with Fentanyl-Laced Flyer

Several dozen flyers were placed on sheriff's office vehicles in the parking lot of the east Houston facility.

A sergeant with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office was hospitalized Tuesday after coming in contact with a fentanyl-laced paper flyer, according to the Houston Chronicle.

Several dozen flyers were placed on sheriff's office vehicles in the parking lot of the east Houston facility.

After removing the flier from her windshield, the sergeant began to “feel light-headed and showed other fentanyl-related symptoms,” according to the Chronicle.

She was rushed to the hospital and is expected to fully recover.
