Minnesota Officer to Receive Bravery Award for Ending Stabbing Attack at Mall

The off-duty Minnesota officer who stopped a man on a stabbing rampage in St. Cloud's Crossroads Center mall will be honored with the Congressional Badge of Bravery on Thursday.

"Falconer saved countless lives after taking down an attacker in a St. Cloud mall," according to Wednesday announcement of Falconer's award from U.S. Rep. Tom Emmer's office. 

Emmer and U.S. Sens. Amy Klobucher and Tina Smith will honor Falconer Thursday in St. Cloud, the St. Cloud Times reports.
