5.11 Tactical's new Class A Flex-Tac Poly/Wool Uniform Collection includes men’s and women’s short sleeve and long sleeve shirts and pants. It was unveiled at the 2018 SHOT Show in Las Vegas this week.

5.11 Tactical has announced a partnership with The Woolmark Company to create a Class A Flex-Tac Poly/Wool Uniform Collection. The collection includes men’s and women’s short sleeve and long sleeve shirts and pants, and was unveiled at the 2018 SHOT Show in Las Vegas this week, with full market availability coming Summer 2018.

Like other products in 5.11’s uniform line, the Class A Flex-Tac Poly/Wool Uniform Collection features fade resistant fabric, Teflon finish, and home laundry friendly qualities. The new Flex-Tac Poly/Wool technology is designed to provide increased functionality and durability by absorbing moisture vapor and controlling odor naturally. The garments resist soiling and staining, and deliver natural thermoregulation and UV protection, according to the company.

Australian Merino wool was chosen to provide softness, while also resisting abrasion, and because it features natural stretch properties, while retaining shape and color. According to 5.11, the Flex-Tac Poly/Wool line is the first ever Class A uniform with mechanical stretch that also has a Teflon finish and is home laundry friendly.
