107-Year-Old Retired Trooper Celebrates Birthday with Michigan State Police

The Michigan State Police took to Facebook to wish a 107-year-old former Michigan trooper a happy birthday Wednesday after celebrating with him.

According to the post, Sgt. Clarence Bonter retired from the Michigan State Police Paw Paw post in 1966 after 29 years of service.

"At 107 years of age, we believe Sergeant Bonter to be the oldest living state police retiree nationwide," the post reads.
