FL Deputy Seriously Hurt in On-Duty Motorcycle Accident

A St. Johns County, FL, deputy was seriously hurt after he crashed his motorcycle Friday on County Road 210.

A St. Johns County, FL, deputy was seriously hurt after he crashed his motorcycle Friday on County Road 210.

Deputy Tony Deleo, 49, has been with the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office for three years. Deleo has serious -- but not life-threatening -- injuries.

Troopers said Deleo was driving westbound when he traveled off the right side of the road and hit a tree.

Deleo was thrown off the motorcycle and hit a concrete power line pole, ActionNewsJax reports.
