OK Sheriff's Office Hires Former Tulsa Officer Betty Shelby

The Rogers County (OK) Sheriff's Office has hired the former Tulsa police officer acquitted in the deadly shooting of Terence Crutcher.

The Rogers County (OK) Sheriff's Office has hired the former Tulsa police officer acquitted in the deadly shooting of Terence Crutcher, reports KOCO.

Betty Shelby, who retired from the Tulsa (OK) Police Department after she was assigned to work a desk job, has been hired as a volunteer reserve deputy. Shelby could be hired full time "if it works out," Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton said.
