In a proclamation he signed in the Oval Office, President Trump announced the White House would be lit up in blue lights Monday evening to honor the 394 officers who were killed in the line of duty last year, reports the Washington Post.

Trump said in a speech at an annual memorial service for officers slain in the line of duty that his administration would make it a priority to provide more federal resources for local law enforcement departments. “We will protect you, and we will say, 'Enough is enough,'" Trump said.
