VIDEO: CA Woman Rams Squad Car, Dies in Shooting

A female suspect died after ramming a police cruiser and being shot by officers in Torrance, CA, Monday afternoon, police said.

Authorities identified the woman as 39-year-old Michelle Shirley, reports KABC.

Witnesses say Shirley, believed to be under the influence, was driving erratically on the wrong side of the road near Arlington and Post avenues Monday afternoon.

After a short chase, police used a PIT maneuver on the car at Cabrillo Avenue and Sepulveda Boulevard.
