VIDEO: Shots Fired at Tennessee Sheriff's Home
An investigation remains ongoing after shots were fired at the Murfreesboro, TN, home of Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold around 8:30 p.m. Monday.
Officials with both the Murfreesboro Police Department and Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, Channel 5 reports.
The sheriff and his family were home. But fortunately no injuries were reported.
Authorities say the attack was a drive-by shooting. At least six reportedly .22-caliber shell casings were found outside of Arnold's home. None of the rounds are believed to have penetrated the home.
