VIDEO: Ohio Officer Suspended for Wearing Pro-Pot Pin on Uniform

A Vermilion (OH) Police Department captain is suspended from his duties, accused of openly supporting the legalization of marijuana while he was in uniform, reports WJW.

Capt. Michael Reinheimer posted a photo on Facebook of a button, which read “I support legalize 2016." It apparently referred to a new effort to legalize pot in Ohio.

Reinheimer admitted he wore the button above his badge while he conducted the department’s annual police auction on Saturday.

On Monday, Vermilion Mayor Eileen Bulan placed the captain on administrative leave.
