Washington State K-9 Stabbed to Death by Wanted Suspect

A Vancouver, Wash., police K-9 has died from injuries he suffered when he was stabbed by a wanted man on Tuesday.

Ike was rushed to Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital, police said, but he did not survive his injuries.

The suspect, who has been identified as Jacky Chan Karuo, 25, was taken into custody after officers used a stun gun, KPTV reports.

Karuo was taken to Clark County Jail and booked on Assault IV DV, Harming a Police Dog and Criminal Impersonation I.
