Tomorrow morning on Fox & Friends, Grand Ole Opry member John Conlee will perform Walkin' Behind the Star, a tribute to law enforcement. At the May Tennessee State Memorial, Conlee performed the song, and FOP State President Johnny Crumby presented Conlee with a plaque naming Walkin' Behind the Star the official Tennessee FOP song.

This song and Fox & Friends performance will be a welcome tribute to those noble heroes who serve and protect, says Serve & Protect CEO Robert Michaels, who is also the chaplain for the Tennessee FOP and the FBI Memphis Division. This song stands in stark contrast to the tragic line of duty deaths spurred on by political and extremist groups who endorse and encourage the officer killings - as well as the more recent spate of restaurant employees who have refused service to officers on duty, he says.

"Those who target police for attack, and those who demean the role of police in their community are an embarrassment to our nation," says Michaels. "John Conlee's song is a welcome encouragement, heartfelt by a great American and talented artist."
