Lt. Brian Keller is accused of using his unmarked black Dodge Charger with emergency lights to conduct a traffic stop on a school bus around 7 a.m. Tuesday in Johnsburg in McHenry County, the Chicago Tribune reports, citing a Johnsburg police report filed by the bus driver.

The report alleges the "purpose of the stop was to issue his son his lunch for the day," NBC Chicago reports.

The Lake County Sheriff’s office said they are investigating the complaint, according to a statement from Undersheriff Raymond J. Rose.
